The National Academy of Science in Medicine

The National Academy of Science in Medicine was established in October 2019, to address the issue of bio-medical research executed by physicians, which is crucial for the advancement of medical research and treatment, and of the utmost importance for innovation in general and for the bio-medical industry in particular. The Academy is a non-governmental, not for profit institution aimed at advancing the status of medical research in Israel and being a driving force for international investments in the bio-medical realm. The Academy consists of the best physician researchers in the country, leading scientific minds with an international reputation, and serves as the body acting to advance the needs of bio-medical research, providing non-biased, authoritative, evidence based advice and information on issues of health and policy in the fields of science and medical research for professionals, policy makers and leaders in all sections of society.
