Dr. Cardash made Aliya from the UK in 1999. She graduated from the School of Medicine UCL, England and received an MHA from Ben Gurion University. She holds a double specialty in family medicine and medical administration and provides medical service as a family doctor in Modi’in. For the past four years, Dr. Tanya Cardash has served as medical director of the Jerusalem and Shfela region, Maccabi Health Services, coordinating the delivery of medical services to over 670,000 policyholders.

Dr. Tanya Cardash serves on the committee of the Israeli society for the Quality of Medicine for 10 years, promoting processes in the field of quality and innovation that encourages collaboration between various health sectors and organizations in Israel. Dr. Cardash serves on the board of directors of Nefesh B’Nefesh and since her arrival in Israel has been actively involved in encouraging the immigration of doctors and health care professionals to Israel.
