Prof. Zion Hagay earned his M.D. from Tel Aviv University’s Sackler School of Medicine. After his residency at Soroka Medical Center, he completed a Gynecology and Obstetrics fellowship at Yale. Elected president of the Israel Medical Association in May 2018, he has held roles such as Chief of Gynecology at Kaplan Medical Center and Chairman of the Israeli Society for Maternal and Fetal Medicine. He is currently an Associate Professor at Hebrew University and Director of Residency Education at Kaplan Medical Center. He also serves as Chair of the Socio-Medical Affairs Committee of the World Medical Association.
